Well, it appears that the rumors are true. A “Mulholland Drive” reunion between David Lynch and Naomi Watts had been alleged late last year for his new “Twin Peaks” revival on Showtime and according to a new report from Deadline, it's happening. Watts will be joining Lynch’s show, which revisits the community and scene of a crime some 25 years after the fact.....(read on)

The site also reports that formerly troubled and prison-prone actor Tom Sizemore — who has cleaned up, but hasn’t worked on a substantial film since 2002’s “Big Trouble” — has joined the cast. Lynch is directing all the new “Twin Peaks” installments and the trade adds that the filmmaker is also rumored to be reprising his recurring role from the original series as FBI Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole.

Lynch plucked Watts out of obscurity after she had been struggling in Hollywood and was about to quit. The director cast her basically on her head shot, fell for her in person and then gave her the lead of his “Mulholland Drive” ABC TV series that eventually became the bizarre feature film that many love and cherish.

In related news, Heather Graham, who had a small part on the series, recently confirmed she’s not returning for the show. Newcomers to the cast include Laura Dern, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Amanda Seyfried. “Twin Peaks” is a limited series that will debut in the first half of 2017 on Showtime.

I love this idea! She seemed to work great with Lynch. Plus this would be her second time with Amanda Seyfried, huh? After "While We're Young." They seem like a good pair in on film.

Yes I also think Amanda a good choice for a Lynch's project same as Naomi, and the two of them seem to be a good pair on screen in their previous film..
